Animated Movie "Ghost Mother" Commentary Text Commentary

Carolyn had a dream.

She dreamed that she walked through the small door

She came into a mirror world.

The layout of this world was exactly the same as her current home

The difference was

This house was more alive

There was another father and mother inside

They were no longer busy with work

Instead, they are free to fulfill Carolyn's every wish

Like having a nice dinner together

Playing in the garden together

The difference is

They had button-like eyes

Waking up the next day

Caroline first went to check the small door

And found that there was still a wall behind it

Then she told her parents about her dream

Her parents didn't pay any attention to what she said

She then told the strange boy in the neighborhood about it

The boy thought she was lying.

Carolyn was angry.

But was powerless to refute it

That night

She dreamed again that she went through a small door to another mother's house

Her mother had made her another strange boy from the neighborhood to play with her for her amusement

It was a pleasant dream

But back in reality

Her parents were still the same

No time for her, no gloves she likes

No nice dinner

She opened the small door in anger

She didn't realize that behind the door was not a wall

There was a mirror image of another world

She went through the passage

She came to another mother's house

Everything was going very well

But after the meal, the other mother asked Caroline to stay here forever

And she had to sew the buttons on her eyes

This scared Caroline.

She tried desperately to escape

But the other mother put her in a secret room

It turns out that this mother is actually a ghost mother

She had hurt three children like Caroline.

First she gave them a happy family

Then she tricked them into staying and finally ate them

Caroline and these children agreed that she would escape

And to help them find their lost eyes

With the help of a strange boy from the neighborhood

She finally escaped

But when she returned home

She realized that her real parents had been captured by the ghost mother

And so

Caroline starts the road to save her parents and deal with the ghost mother

At the end of the story

Caroline, with the help of the neighbor's strange boy and his black cat

succeeded in finding the lost eyes of the three murdered children and her real parents

The parents have changed a lot after this ordeal

They began to spend more time with Caroline

Many times

parents ignore their children's true feelings in order to give them the best.

The truth is that companionship is sometimes more important than material things.
