Korean high score classic disaster movie "flu" commentary copy

Korean films have matured in the genre of crime thrillers, both in terms of subject matter scale and industrial properties, compared to Hollywood also tends to be a bit more pointedly topical.

Female doctor In-hae is unlucky today, driving on the road in a car accident, fortunately the rescue team arrived in time to be rescued by firefighter Ji-joo. But during the rescue, Ji Goo accidentally tore In Hae's skirt. After the two returned to the ground, Ji Goo came back to offer his affection, but In Hae was very upset and said some harsh words to Ji Goo. Still risking being fired, Ji Goo went back to In Hae's car again to help her retrieve her handbag.

While Ji Goo was returning the bag, he met In Hae's daughter Mi Roo. From Miroku, he learns that In-hye is a doctor and a single mother who lives alone with her daughter.

One night, In-hye, who was just about to leave work, was called back. An emergency patient, who had vomited blood due to a cold. In-hye examined the patient and confirmed with the professor that it was the first case of swine flu in the country according to the patient's condition. In-hye opened the patient's cell phone to check the patient's movement. Unexpectedly, he saw a video of a container full of dead bodies. From this, In-hye deduced that the patient was infected in the container. In-hye contacted the patient's brother and learned from him that the two brothers relied on stowaways to make ends meet.

It turned out that on this night, a container full of stowaways arrived, and after opening it, there was a foul smell, and strangely enough, no stowaways were seen coming out as usual. The brother turned on the flashlight only after seeing the stowaways have turned into corpses. It turned out that before sealing the box, one of the stowaways had symptoms of a cold. So the cold turned the closed container into a living hell.

The entire container only a teenager survived, so the two brothers took the teenager away, but halfway, the teenager jumped out of the car and escaped. The brother wanted to chase the teenager back, but found that his brother was sick, so he took him to the drugstore to buy medicine. The doctor at the pharmacy thought the brother had a common cold and prescribed some random medicine for them. The brother became ill and was sent to the hospital, the doctor in the pharmacy, and the patient was infected.

The police found the container with the corpse and the medical staff quickly disinfected and burned the container and the corpse inside. In-hye, who is the captain, sees footprints on the ground and determines that someone escaped from the container.

In-hye's daughter Miroku comes across the escaped teenager and finds him coughing all the time. The kind-hearted Miroku wants to help him, but knowing that her mother doesn't have time, she finds Jigu. But when Jigu arrives, he finds that the teenager is missing.

In the hospital, the number of patients keeps increasing, and since the virus first appeared in Korea, there is simply no serum antibody to make an antidote. Only, the epidemic is allowed to rage. In-hye confirmed the teenager's survival through various clues. If the teenager was still alive and had now developed antibodies, then extracting his blood would allow the antidote to be developed.

So a large number of police officers were triggered to search for the surviving teenager nationwide, and Jigu took Miroku and searched the streets for half a day without finding him. At this time, the authorities have come up with a solution to this sub-epidemic, and the Korean government, under the pressure of the U.S. military, has decided to put all the people in the area under centralized quarantine. They had to stay in the quarantine area for 48 hours to make sure they were not infected before they could leave.

The government blocked cell phone signals in the area and troops went door-to-door to arrest people. Hundreds of thousands of people were brought from their homes to the quarantine area, and after screening, the infected and uninfected people were separated and sent to two different places. During the screening, In-hye found that his daughter Miroku showed symptoms of infection. In-hye deeply understood that there were no treatment measures now, and once her daughter was sent to the infected area, she would definitely die. So, he secretly helped his daughter to muddle through the first hurdle and was sent to the uninfected area.

Jigu finds out that Miroku is already infected and persuades In-hye to send Miroku to the infected area, convinced that the state will not leave the infected people alone, but In-hye strongly disagrees to do so. The next day, people found that the infected people had been taken away and were not heard from at all. The people in the quarantine zone have heard rumors that they will be executed if they are infected. The army's gunfire made people even more suspicious, and no one knew if they would be released after 48 hours.

The police found the surviving teenager, who had developed antibodies in his body. In-hye is called to the lab as the doctor who was exposed to swine flu, and Jigu accompanies Miroku to watch cartoons. In-hye saw the living teenager and knew that his daughter was saved. So In-hye ran back to the quarantine area to take Miroku and give him the antibody serum.

But just then, his daughter Miroku's test results came out and confirmed that she was infected and had to be taken to the infected area. Jigu stepped forward at that moment and went to the infected area instead of Miroku. In-hye rushed to the lab with Miroku in his arms and tricked the doctor on duty here while everyone was eating. From the teenager, he took out the serum and injected it into Miroku's body. Before Miroku's medicine could take effect, In-hye was discovered and Miroku was taken to the infected area.

Jigu finally found out in the infected area that the rumors were all true, where the patients did not receive any treatment and were shipped out in bags after they died. There were more and more infected people, and this place was limited. To make room, the soldiers put those who were still breathing directly into the bags. When Jigu didn't know what to do, he saw the hairpin on the ground, it was Miroku's hairpin she was also sent in.

Jigu ran along the path of the transported bodies to the center of the stadium, where the scene shocked him even more. In the middle of the stadium, there was a particularly large pit, all the corpses, were thrown into the pit, and inside the pit a roaring fire burned the bodies. Jigu continued to search for Miroku, but there were so many people that he didn't know where to start. Just then, Jigu heard the sound of the cartoon, and followed the sound to find Miroku. She was still alive, and the serum antibody in the teenager's body was really working.

I thought the people here were saved, but there was another problem on the teenager's side. Since the quarantine has exceeded 48 hours, the people in the quarantine area began to riot, two infected soldiers, told the people the truth that there is no treatment, and will not be released after 48 hours, and told the infected people have been buried alive and burned. At once, the people in the quarantine area were enraged and everyone broke through the quarantine line. Rushing to the stadium, they saw the mass graves. And intercepted the medical team vehicle carrying the antibody boy, who was dragged out of the crowd. The older brother stabbed Blacky in the stomach to avenge his brother's death. With Blackie dead, there was no longer any way to draw blood to separate the serum, and hope for the Republic of Korea was gone.

The situation is once again at a stalemate, as the infected area is so close to Seoul that the U.S. military presence is once again pressuring the Korean government to abandon the infected area and all the people in it in order to keep the virus from spreading around the world. After covering the evacuation of the medical team, the army occupied all roads out of the city. Turning their guns on their own people. The people who were not infected, in order to be able to live. The scene was chaotic as they stormed the army's defenses and the army was given the order to fire on the crowd with permission to shoot.

In-hye learned that his daughter was still alive and rushed to report the situation to headquarters, saying that his daughter had also developed antibodies. But the United States had by now sent bombers to prepare to bomb the uninfected crowd, trying to solve the virus once and for all in this way.

At this time, the president of South Korea, however, commanded his own troops and stopped the U.S. bombing campaign. After the American troops withdrew, the president shouted to the people in the quarantine zone, telling them that the antibodies had been found and that everyone should rest easy and that they would be treated immediately. The people in the quarantine zone stopped resisting and quietly waited for the medical team to arrive. Mina was successfully rescued, and In-hye and Ji-joo became fond of each other during this epidemic and finally became a couple.

This movie is called "Influenza", the degree of completion of the disaster film is relatively high, the breadth of the script is enough, the characterization is more extreme, the story advances the ups and downs, the transformation of the relationship between the characters are not bad, is a sincere production.
